Dean Watts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Boniel in the 27th minute of the match. It was a well-played corner which Khairil Lum managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 31st minute of the match, Moises Boniel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dean Watts saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carleton Howie in the 32nd minute of play forced São Miguel do Oeste.SC's goalkeeper Honorato Marz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the São Miguel do Oeste.SC defense, Abraham Laing kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Honorato Marz.
