After 17 played minutes Soczewki Gliwice got a freekick which was hit by Kacem von Felten. 18 minutes into the match, Soczewki Gliwice's goalkeeper Damazy Kensicki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wei Guang Xing. Soczewki Gliwice's Damazy Kensicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wei Guang Xing in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Wei Guang Xing's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damazy Kensicki was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Soczewki Gliwice's Damazy Kensicki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Soczewki Gliwice from getting a goal against them. After having played for 27 minutes, Afonso Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MONTANHA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Cardozo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damazy Kensicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wei Guang Xing in the 29th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tomasz Sobania's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andres van der Sar was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Tomasz Sobania sped through MONTANHA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andres van der Sar. After the first half Soczewki Gliwice were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wei Guang Xing made a kick off. Nilton Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Afonso Cardozo struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Damazy Kensicki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MONTANHA. 66 minutes into the match, MONTANHA's Czeslaw Walec sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damazy Kensicki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Soczewki Gliwice's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Afonso Cardozo was slow to take the kick. During this time MONTANHA's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Afonso Cardozo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Soczewki Gliwice's Damazy Kensicki did a great save. In the 77th minute, Afonso Cardozo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damazy Kensicki was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Edgar Matela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soczewki Gliwice's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Matela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andres van der Sar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the match, Soczewki Gliwice's goal looked a bit too open when Czeslaw Walec came free, but Damazy Kensicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Soczewki Gliwice's Damazy Kensicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Czeslaw Walec in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Czeslaw Walec in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damazy Kensicki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the match, MONTANHA's goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Sobania came free, but Andres van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Soczewki Gliwice's zone, Wei Guang Xing stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damazy Kensicki came out of the goal and Wei Guang Xing tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andres van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Matela, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Soczewki Gliwice supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Soczewki Gliwice would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
