Damazy Tepper was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Bemowo's players had a chance to rest. 16 minutes into the match, Bazinga!'s goalkeeper Alfons Levý had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ong Bongo. FC Bemowo's Dariusz Bielejewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Intriago Montes in the 19th minute of play. With a little luck, Bazinga!'s Alfons Levý got control of the ball when Ong Bongo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfons Levý made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Tepper in the 27th minute of play. Damazy Tepper succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 27th playminute. After 33 minutes Bazinga!'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Damazy Tepper who took care of the corner kick. Dariusz Bielejewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars-Erik Rosen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th match minute, Bazinga! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Chlebek to maneuver through the defense. Dariusz Bielejewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars-Erik Rosen's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Vito Seco might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfons Levý. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vito Seco ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ong Bongo was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, FC Bemowo's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Salgado came free, but Dariusz Bielejewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 54 minutes, Ong Bongo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Bemowo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ong Bongo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Vito Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ong Bongo in the 60th minute of play forced Bazinga!'s goalkeeper Alfons Levý to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars-Erik Rosen got free with Dariusz Bielejewski in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ong Bongo in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfons Levý prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Bemowo's Roch Czeszyk was substituted for Waldemar Domaracki. FC Bemowo made a substitution. Nicasio Cugat replaced Ong Bongo. FC Bemowo's Slawomir Przybyciel was substituted for Szczepan Kasprzak. Bazinga!'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Damazy Tepper ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 93rd minute, Domenico Della Francesca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicasio Cugat in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfons Levý saved Bazinga! from getting behind.
