Aquiles Leonidas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Du Jie Ran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Du Jie Ran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Leonidas in the 21st minute of play. Silas Carneiro stood somewhat misplaced when Desislav Sergeev came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 25 minute. Enrico Rea struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Silas Carneiro made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Qian Lin Yu sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Desislav Sergeev in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silas Carneiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 37 minutes, Xiao Guo Guang mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HALO HANGZHOU and the Flamengo FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Flamengo FSCMZ booed when HALO HANGZHOU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xiao Guo Guang didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to HALO HANGZHOU getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Xiao Guo Guang hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filipe Nascimento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in HALO HANGZHOU's zone, Aquiles Leonidas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Du Jie Ran came out of the goal and Aquiles Leonidas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute, Claudinho Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flamengo FSCMZ's Silas Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qian Lin Yu in the 55th minute of play. Du Jie Ran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Nascimento in the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute of the match Flamengo FSCMZ got a corner. HALO HANGZHOU's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chico Neto ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 70th match minute, Flamengo FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, HALO HANGZHOU's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Leonidas came free, but Du Jie Ran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind HALO HANGZHOU's goalkeeper Du Jie Ran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Du Jie Ran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Nascimento in the 80th minute of the match. Aquiles Leonidas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th match minute, Flamengo FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurinho Meira to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Wu Liang Xu came free, but Silas Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, HALO HANGZHOU's goalkeeper Du Jie Ran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aquiles Leonidas. When Filipe Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Flamengo FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Nascimento couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew the final whistle, HALO HANGZHOU could leave the field as winners, despite Flamengo FSCMZ having more of the ball for most of the match.
