A collision led to Xurupita FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Valer Muscaș hit a great ball. After 42 played minutes Xurupita FC got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Bemabe. 45 minutes into the match, Xurupita FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Coelho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaston Bitze. In the 46th minute, Pontus Ligers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The FC BARCELONA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Xurupita FC were winning 0-1.

Gilvan Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Xurupita FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
