When Édouard Vie fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perthes United's protests and gave Édouard Vie a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Perthes United's Édouard Vie got a free kick in the 31st minute. With a little luck, Perthes United's Jean-Marie Sanquer got control of the ball when Brookes Crane tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hercule Basque could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Erlend Sørby made a huge save. Wu Si Xiao's late challenge caught a Perthes United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wu Si Xiao helped the player get up and apologised. Wu Si Xiao kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 65 minutes, Paz Gledden made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Perthes United's Jean-Marie Sanquer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th match minute, Perthes United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Édouard Vie to maneuver through the defense. Leeton United FC's Gregory Krause couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Perthes United. Jean-Marie Sanquer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brookes Crane in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute Paz Gledden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Marie Sanquer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paz Gledden struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Jean-Marie Sanquer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leeton United FC. Jean-Marie Sanquer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brookes Crane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Leeton United FC.
