Norbert Balonek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brookes Crane went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Goianésia E.C defense, Clay Heath kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norbert Balonek. The Goianésia E.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norbert Balonek should have stopped the shot. 11 minutes into the game, Paz Gledden cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Norbert Balonek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paz Gledden in the 14th minute of play forced Goianésia E.C's goalkeeper Norbert Balonek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregory Krause received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Norbert Balonek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norbert Balonek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paz Gledden, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The corner led Leeton United FC's Wu Si Xiao to fire away a dangerous shot which Norbert Balonek despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 25 played minutes Goianésia E.C got a freekick which was hit by Deivid Paraíba. When Leeton United FC's Paz Gledden in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Goianésia E.C's goalie prevented a goal. In the 27th match minute, Goianésia E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabi Gol to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Goianésia E.C getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. João Trigo hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paz Gledden in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norbert Balonek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Norbert Balonek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paz Gledden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Goianésia E.C's João Trigo got a free kick in the 39th minute. 44 minutes into the game, César Delgado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goianésia E.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leeton United FC the free kick. In the 44th minute, César Delgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Goianésia E.C's Norbert Balonek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paz Gledden in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Leeton United FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Paz Gledden made the kick off in the second half. Norbert Balonek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clay Heath went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. In the 57th match minute, Goianésia E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hortêncio Senna to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Gregory Krause in the 58th minute really tested Norbert Balonek's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 61st minute, Leeton United FC's Clay Heath ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Norbert Balonek. Norbert Balonek yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Gabi Gol kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Leeton United FC's Clay Heath got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th match minute, Goianésia E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deivid Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the game, Paz Gledden recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Norbert Balonek. Paz Gledden showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. In the 71stth minute of the game Paz Gledden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goianésia E.C's Norbert Balonek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Norbert Balonek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paz Gledden in the 73rd minute of play. Norbert Balonek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paz Gledden, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. A collision led to Goianésia E.C getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. César Delgado hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Leeton United FC's Paz Gledden sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norbert Balonek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Wu Si Xiao made a precise shot to the right of Norbert Balonek. Goianésia E.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Goianésia E.C's Norbert Balonek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Goianésia E.C from getting a goal against them. Leeton United FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gregory Krause in the 96th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Ralph Chamberlain heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.
