The corner was taken by Pompiliu Alupoaie in the 4th minute. Fc Camerunul ★DAC★'s Pompiliu Alupoaie was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lütfü Mürsel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Freddy Cordarrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laurențiu Bărănescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Lütfü Mürsel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mattias Tingelholm. Freddy Cordarrell scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Augusto Santos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Fenerbahçe getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Freddy Cordarrell hit a great ball. Zé Augusto Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Cordarrell in the 28th minute of the match. Mattias Tingelholm was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 29th minute. Fc Camerunul ★DAC★'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Bernát Pócsi kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Mattias Tingelholm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fc Camerunul ★DAC★'s Zé Augusto Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Cordarrell in the 38th minute of play. Freddy Cordarrell struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Zé Augusto Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fenerbahçe. The supporters of Fc Camerunul ★DAC★ booed when Fenerbahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mário Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Freddy Cordarrell made the kick off in the second half. The Fenerbahçe fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Fenerbahçe's Metehan Aurelio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurențiu Bărănescu in the 57th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Lütfü Mürsel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fenerbahçe's Freddy Cordarrell got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lütfü Mürsel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Tingelholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Micael Ciobica hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Fc Camerunul ★DAC★ made a substitution. Nicu Lucescu replaced Mattias Tingelholm. Micael Ciobica kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Fenerbahçe were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Fc Camerunul ★DAC★'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dorival Alagoano took the corner. Lütfü Mürsel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicu Lucescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laurențiu Bărănescu in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lütfü Mürsel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lütfü Mürsel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Bărănescu in the 83rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Laurențiu Bărănescu put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Lütfü Mürsel. Laurențiu Bărănescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lütfü Mürsel having to interfere. Lütfü Mürsel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicu Lucescu went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fc Camerunul ★DAC★ had won after a very even match.
