The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ronalds McDonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michele Rieger having to interfere. Michele Rieger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronalds McDonald in the 11th minute of play. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ronalds McDonald sped through Axenstein's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Michele Rieger. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Bumba in the 18th minute of play forced Desportivo Coala's goalkeeper Astor Hug to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bodo Oster succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 19th playminute. With his leg Astor Hug managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Axenstein's Joshua Kimmich fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Astor Hug didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bodo Oster went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 33 minutes into the match, Desportivo Coala's goalkeeper Astor Hug had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ragnar Lodbrok. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronalds McDonald in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michele Rieger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bodo Oster got free with Astor Hug in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronalds McDonald to strike the kick off in the second half. Astor Hug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ragnar Lodbrok in the 54th minute of play. When Axenstein's Claudiu Bumba in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Desportivo Coala's goalie prevented a goal. After 67 played minutes Desportivo Coala got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Alcântara. If Gilvan Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Trucco kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After 74 played minutes Axenstein got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Trucco. Michele Rieger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronalds McDonald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yannick Willi kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 84 minutes in the game Valentin Trucco did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Joshua Kimmich. Astor Hug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bodo Oster in the 85th minute of play. After 90 minutes, Teofil Sidorowicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Desportivo Coala and the Axenstein players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Axenstein fans cheered their team off the field, for while Desportivo Coala had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
