Harry Forsman kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Paulino Lamberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Haeger having to interfere. With his leg Oskar Haeger managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when San Martin de Tucuman's Paulino Lamberto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Paulino Lamberto did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Oskar Haeger 22 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, San Martin de Tucuman's Paulino Lamberto got a free kick in the 26th minute. Cecilio Jax took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingemar Stålman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cecilio Jax stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingemar Stålman's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Cecilio Jax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingemar Stålman, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Paulino Lamberto had several of the Hermanö Oilers's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 39 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Oskar Haeger as he didn't even see the shot coming. Paulino Lamberto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Oskar Haeger firmly grabbed it by the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulino Lamberto was the one to do the kick off. Luciano Selmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cecilio Jax made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Dave Di Filippo sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Hermanö Oilers's Jacek Zielinski got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Hermanö Oilers made a substitution. Bror Lilja replaced Hjalmar Askelöf. In the 64th match minute, Hermanö Oilers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacek Zielinski to maneuver through the defense. Harel Minsky made in the 71st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dave Di Filippo immediately put the ball in play. Oskar Haeger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Oskar Haeger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Munio, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 86th match minute, Hermanö Oilers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacek Zielinski to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Munio in the 91st minute of play forced Hermanö Oilers's goalkeeper Oskar Haeger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Luciano Selmo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oskar Haeger. Hermanö Oilers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luciano Selmo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. San Martin de Tucuman's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
