Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Baltasar Aznaro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Isidro Carrasqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Hemming Glykær reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Baltasar Aznaro. The goal made the score 1-0. Hemming Glykær fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Aznaro having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Stanislaw Piwowarski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gunvald Mitens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Hemming Glykær managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Drik's supporters rose to their feet, but Hemming Glykær was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltasar Aznaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ted Kobbeltvedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witalis Tamulewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute, Denis Schubring reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Baltasar Aznaro. The goal made the score 2-0. When Stasio Redisz fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LFS Sapphire Club's protests and gave Stasio Redisz a yellow card for diving instead. Stasio Redisz hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gunvald Mitens got free with Baltasar Aznaro in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the game, Gunvald Mitens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baltasar Aznaro. Gunvald Mitens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. FC Drik made a substitution. Calvin Townsley replaced Gunvald Mitens. In the 47th match minute, LFS Sapphire Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fedele Cardella to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the game, Ernst Barskov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baltasar Aznaro. Ernst Barskov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Witalis Tamulewicz to make the kick off. Ted Kobbeltvedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witalis Tamulewicz in the 55th minute of play. Hemming Glykær's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltasar Aznaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Ted Kobbeltvedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witalis Tamulewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After recieving a nice pass, FC Drik's Willy Reitoft tried to score from far away in the 69th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of FC Drik booed when LFS Sapphire Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbigniew Hatman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, LFS Sapphire Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ernst Barskov came free, but Baltasar Aznaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 played minutes LFS Sapphire Club got a freekick which was hit by Stanislaw Piwowarski. Denis Schubring sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Hemming Glykær managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Drik's supporters rose to their feet, but Hemming Glykær was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltasar Aznaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that FC Drik were the better team. FC Drik's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
