After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Gustaw Tscherner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Astral Roots Gdynia's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaw Tscherner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ed De Goeij breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sébastien Marionneau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Bokelund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Astral Roots Gdynia's zone, Hannes Christoffersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sébastien Marionneau came out of the goal and Hannes Christoffersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Tobias Stephansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sébastien Marionneau was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. If Zygmunt Moizuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Co Wielaert scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ed De Goeij, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sébastien Marionneau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Bokelund, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The corner led Snedspark IF's Hannes Christoffersson to fire away a dangerous shot which Sébastien Marionneau despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Gustaw Tscherner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th minute, Zeno Sama left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Snedspark IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After the first half Snedspark IF were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustaw Tscherner was the one to do the kick off. Snedspark IF's Ed De Goeij played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaw Tscherner in the 53rd minute of play. Zeno Sama received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sébastien Marionneau came out and tried to block the shot, but Zeno Sama slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 56th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Hannes Christoffersson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Sébastien Marionneau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tobias Stephansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Sébastien Marionneau made a huge save. In the 74thth minute of the game Zeno Sama who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astral Roots Gdynia's Sébastien Marionneau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute Snedspark IF were awarded a corner. Leif Skoog went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 80th minute of the match Mieszko Gierlach shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ed De Goeij showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benedykt Jarosiewicz in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ed De Goeij prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Astral Roots Gdynia's Benedykt Jarosiewicz, in the 82nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Astral Roots Gdynia. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Freddie Nordmark during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Astral Roots Gdynia made a substitution. Czeslaw Okropny replaced Co Wielaert. Tobias Stephansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Astral Roots Gdynia's goalkeeper Sébastien Marionneau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hannes Christoffersson. Kevin Bokelund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
