Sébastien Marionneau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umberto Nunes in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Gustaw Tscherner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Alén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Astral Roots Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Umberto Nunes came free, but Sébastien Marionneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alfred Elvins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of MaLe FC booed when Astral Roots Gdynia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylwester Hajduk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Astral Roots Gdynia's Co Wielaert got a free kick in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Umberto Nunes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sébastien Marionneau. Astral Roots Gdynia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Umberto Nunes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Sébastien Marionneau was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Umberto Nunes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Umberto Nunes really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Astral Roots Gdynia's Sébastien Marionneau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Nunes in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Umberto Nunes made the kick off in the second half. After 59 minutes, Sylwester Hajduk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Astral Roots Gdynia and the MaLe FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes Astral Roots Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Sylwester Hajduk. In the 63rd minute Alfred Elvins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sébastien Marionneau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sébastien Marionneau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Elvins in the 64th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Zygmunt Moizuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Umberto Nunes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sébastien Marionneau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Co Wielaert reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joel Alén. The goal made the score 4-1. Astral Roots Gdynia's Benedykt Jarosiewicz was substituted for Gustaw Tscherner. Joel Alén didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedykt Jarosiewicz went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Joel Alén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedykt Jarosiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Astral Roots Gdynia made a substitution. Czeslaw Okropny replaced Co Wielaert. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. MaLe FC had won after a very even match.
