Ladislao Birila started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Argentinos del Norte's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Zalayeta came free, but Primeiro Leto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute Agustín Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primeiro Leto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Birila came free, but Cafu Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Agustín Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primeiro Leto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Cafu Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Barratt in the 15th minute of play. Argentinos del Norte's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mattias Barratt in the 16th minute. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Argentinos del Norte's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lukasz Klucznik took the corner. The corner led PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Marcelo Zalayeta to fire away a dangerous shot which Primeiro Leto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cafu Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Birila, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Cafu Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Birila in the 31st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Ladislao Birila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Argentinos del Norte's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Birila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cafu Negri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Argentinos del Norte's Primeiro Leto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Usain Bolt in the 35th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mattias Barratt in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cafu Negri saved PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukasz Klucznik in the 37th minute of play forced Argentinos del Norte's goalkeeper Primeiro Leto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Cafu Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergiu Şimandan in the 38th minute of play. Argentinos del Norte's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mattias Barratt in the 39th minute. A nice corner shot did that Mattias Barratt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cafu Negri quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basilio Bilbo in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cafu Negri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Primeiro Leto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Usain Bolt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Argentinos del Norte's David Petersson got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute, Agustín Alvarez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The Argentinos del Norte players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON were winning 0-1.
Argentinos del Norte made a substitution. Gualterio Ponc replaced Remigio Castulo. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agustín Alvarez to make the kick off. Primeiro Leto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Alvarez in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Argentinos del Norte's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lukasz Klucznik was slow to take the kick. During this time PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's corner Lukasz Klucznik fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Primeiro Leto quite easily take care of the ball. In the 55th minute Lukasz Klucznik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primeiro Leto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cafu Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Hanni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cafu Negri came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Argentinos del Norte's Hector Hanni. But to his dismay, Hector Hanni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Usain Bolt in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Argentinos del Norte's goalie prevented a goal. Primeiro Leto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Zalayeta in the 65th minute of play. Cafu Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Raymon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hector Hanni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu Negri having to interfere. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Rogelio Cosca was substituted for Agustín Alvarez. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Millrick Portanares was substituted for Torcato Brito. Primeiro Leto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Matosas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Primeiro Leto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lukasz Klucznik in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute Zeledon Raymon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafu Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cafu Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Hanni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Primeiro Leto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 92nd minute Hector Hanni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafu Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primeiro Leto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Procopio Mayorga in the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Procopio Mayorga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Primeiro Leto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
