When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Nike Cavia sped through Juventus Țiu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marius Bălașa. When Nike Cavia came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Szittyák SE rege fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nike Cavia couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Juventus Țiu's goalkeeper Marius Bălașa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nike Cavia hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Nike Cavia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marius Bălașa having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Boteanu was the one to do the kick off.
