Fred Finsberg took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Borys Witek. Borys Witek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Borys Witek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anderson Vaz's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute Kent Remme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Anderson Vaz notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Brufoss IL's Borys Witek. Borys Witek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Brufoss IL's Borys Witek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anderson Vaz in the 34th minute of play. If Fred Finsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Fred Finsberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Borys Witek. The goal made the score 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Resulhan Ulvi in the 50th minute of play forced Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Borys Witek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borys Witek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Resulhan Ulvi, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Doni das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Remme in the 55th minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Borys Witek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 74 minutes into the game, Kevin Strømsnes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brufoss IL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TEIXEIRINHA FC the free kick.
