Doni das Neves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ove Orm made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Resulhan Ulvi sent off a good shot on target. When Egil Eagle came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Elefanterna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egil Eagle couldn't finish the play. Doni das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egil Eagle, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Olov Åkesson scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doni das Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Egil Eagle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anderson Vaz in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ove Orm saved Elefanterna from getting behind. Olov Åkesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 28 minutes into the match, Elefanterna's Olov Åkesson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Doni das Neves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. José Maria Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. When Rickard Hjälm came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Elefanterna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rickard Hjälm couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the game, Fred Finsberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TEIXEIRINHA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elefanterna the free kick. 35 minutes into the match, Hjalmar Hjort had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doni das Neves. TEIXEIRINHA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hjalmar Hjort was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When Anderson Vaz got free in front of the goal in the 47th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ove Orm was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.

The wind increased when Hjalmar Hjort made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Elefanterna's Hjalmar Hjort nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doni das Neves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Ove Orm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Resulhan Ulvi in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson Vaz in the 57th minute of play forced Elefanterna's goalkeeper Ove Orm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Maria Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind TEIXEIRINHA FC's goalkeeper Doni das Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hjalmar Hjort received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Doni das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olov Åkesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doni das Neves having to interfere. In the 68th minute Resulhan Ulvi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Orm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Hjalmar Hjort cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Doni das Neves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in TEIXEIRINHA FC's zone, Egil Eagle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doni das Neves came out of the goal and Egil Eagle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute Anton Odman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Resulhan Ulvi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TEIXEIRINHA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
