The Poli Timisoara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Hipólito Taveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Primeiro in the 5th minute of the match. İldeniz Turatekin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ovidiu Adrian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. The corner ended in Emanuel Mateescu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Poli Timisoara's Ovidiu Adrian did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling İldeniz Turatekin in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidiu Adrian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 Aѕℓαη ƒC™'s Hipólito Taveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Primeiro in the 13th minute of play. 11 Aѕℓαη ƒC™'s Lv Jian was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ovidiu Adrian in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ovidiu Adrian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Mateescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute of the match 11 Aѕℓαη ƒC™ got a corner. Poli Timisoara's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Mateescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led 11 Aѕℓαη ƒC™'s Emanuel Mateescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Ovidiu Adrian despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 23rd minute, İldeniz Turatekin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 11 Aѕℓαη ƒC™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Poli Timisoara were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after 11 Aѕℓαη ƒC™'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Horst-Peter Unterberger took the corner. But to his dismay, İldeniz Turatekin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 39 minutes into the match, Poli Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when İldeniz Turatekin came free, but Ovidiu Adrian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Poli Timisoara defense, İldeniz Turatekin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidiu Adrian. The Poli Timisoara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidiu Adrian should have stopped the shot. In the 45th minute, Vilhelm Larsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when İldeniz Turatekin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hipólito Taveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiger De Hond in the 52nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that İldeniz Turatekin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidiu Adrian was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. İldeniz Turatekin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovidiu Adrian having to make a save. In the 66th minute, Tiger De Hond made a precise shot to the right of Hipólito Taveira. 11 Aѕℓαη ƒC™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. 69 minutes into the game, Poli Timisoara's Mauro Primeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hipólito Taveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. 11 Aѕℓαη ƒC™ made a substitution. Tore-Andre Flo replaced İldeniz Turatekin. 11 Aѕℓαη ƒC™ made a substitution. Ahmet Fikret Şıran replaced Abdurrahim Perviz. After 75 minutes Poli Timisoara's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emanuel Mateescu who took care of the corner kick. Ovidiu Adrian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Mateescu in the 79th minute. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Emanuel Mateescu put it in 3-5 from a short distance just to the right of Ovidiu Adrian. In the 84th minute, Ahmet Fikret Şıran reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ovidiu Adrian. The goal made the score 3-6. Ovidiu Adrian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched 11 Aѕℓαη ƒC™ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
