Ciriaco Olivar made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Diego Milito sent off a good shot on target. Ciriaco Olivar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Jakes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Isaac Dayam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Neron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Mingo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The supporters of Deportivo Balvanera booed when Locademia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Rami didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Diego Milito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciriaco Olivar was relentless in the 64th minute of the game.
