Bonifacio Petrigai hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 26 minutes F.C. Carmo De Kiev's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marciano Koldobika who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Marciano Koldobika almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but F.C. Carmo De Kiev's Navarro Montoya did a great save. Aílton Cearense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Abel Neron made a huge save. Navarro Montoya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Milito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evandro da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Abel Neron made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Aílton Cearense sent off a good shot on target. If Lisandro López had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Severiano Taurino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Navarro Montoya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Milito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severiano Taurino in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Navarro Montoya saved F.C. Carmo De Kiev from getting behind. Abel Neron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aílton Cearense in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Jakes in the 55th minute of play forced F.C. Carmo De Kiev's goalkeeper Navarro Montoya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aílton Cearense in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Neron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to F.C. Carmo De Kiev getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Erivaldo Bastos hit a great ball. With a little luck, F.C. Carmo De Kiev's Navarro Montoya got control of the ball when Diego Milito tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro López got free with Navarro Montoya in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute Marciano Koldobika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Navarro Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Adolfo Poz got a free kick in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Cauan Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Carmo De Kiev's supporters rose to their feet, but Cauan Teles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Neron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lisandro López could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Navarro Montoya made a huge save. F.C. Carmo De Kiev's Navarro Montoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Taurino in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aílton Cearense in the 77th minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Abel Neron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Taurino in the 83rd minute of play forced F.C. Carmo De Kiev's goalkeeper Navarro Montoya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to F.C. Carmo De Kiev getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Isaltino Cruz hit a great ball. Marciano Koldobika struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Navarro Montoya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Balvanera. Navarro Montoya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lisandro López in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute Severiano Taurino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Navarro Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Navarro Montoya made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Lisandro López sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Deportivo Balvanera defense, Aílton Cearense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Neron. The Deportivo Balvanera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Neron should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. F.C. Carmo De Kiev had won after a very even match.
