After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Alberto Lusi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merceron United's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Lusi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciriaco Olivar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Locademia's Ciriaco Olivar got control of the ball when Edoardo Pascucci tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ciriaco Olivar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinei Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciriaco Olivar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinei Fernandez in the 13th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Locademia defense, Dinei Fernandez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciriaco Olivar. The Locademia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciriaco Olivar should have stopped the shot. After 18 played minutes Merceron United got a freekick which was hit by Edoardo Pascucci. Ciriaco Olivar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Pascucci in the 20th minute of play. Cirilo Enaut kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinei Fernandez got free with Ciriaco Olivar in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edoardo Pascucci was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Locademia's Ciriaco Olivar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Locademia from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Dinei Fernandez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciriaco Olivar was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Locademia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dinei Fernandez in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciriaco Olivar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 56 minutes Locademia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Milosz Waselenczuk who took care of the corner kick. After 57 minutes, Donato Richie mouthed his way into the referee's book. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Merceron United.
