Guy Davis made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Eric Hjortsberg sent off a good shot on target. Reynaldo Mede kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, João Adolfo Goiano made a precise shot to the right of Guy Davis. Holy Cross Mountains's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Albert Booth made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by IGUIPORÃ FC's Danél Iriart. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eric Hjortsberg was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Eric Hjortsberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IGUIPORÃ FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 54 minutes into the game, IGUIPORÃ FC's Danél Iriart nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guy Davis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 58 minutes into the game, Zé Carlos Velasco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Guy Davis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The IGUIPORÃ FC fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when IGUIPORÃ FC's Albert Sparnaaij looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After 75 minutes of play, IGUIPORÃ FC's Albert Sparnaaij made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guy Davis was left in no man's land by his defense there! IGUIPORÃ FC made a substitution. Luiz Paulo Chaves replaced Eric Hjortsberg. Zé Carlos Velasco scored 10-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guy Davis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
