With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patricio Aurre in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guy Davis saved Holy Cross Mountains from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patricio Aurre got free with Guy Davis in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The FC Montana fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when FC Montana's Patricio Aurre looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Patricio Aurre put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Guy Davis.
