After 8 minutes of play, Flamenco United's Bircan Serdar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alto Muro was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Carter Malatesta in the 12th minute of play forced Flamenco United's goalkeeper Ye Zheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Bircan Serdar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alto Muro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carter Malatesta kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. When Costel Răducanu came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Flamenco United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costel Răducanu couldn't finish the play. When Cesano Boscone's Adrian Miliano in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After the first half Flamenco United were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Miliano to make the kick off. Cesano Boscone's Alto Muro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Cichocki in the 53rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jurgen Turpin got free with Alto Muro in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ye Zheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Miliano, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. When Jurgen Turpin fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flamenco United's protests and gave Jurgen Turpin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cesano Boscone booed when Flamenco United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jurgen Turpin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Although Cesano Boscone had been in control for most of the match, Flamenco United still came away with the win.
