Olaf Kolano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphaël Félicité in the 44th minute of play forced Royal Excel Mouscron's goalkeeper Frans Koch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Oscar Verstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Kujawiak Włocławek booed when Royal Excel Mouscron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Johan Persson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute of the match Victoriano Carlini sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frans Koch skillfully saved the ball. The Royal Excel Mouscron players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kujawiak Włocławek were winning 1-3.

In the 87th minute of the match, Halil Kiraz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Frans Koch saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 90th minute, Natalio Evis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kujawiak Włocławek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. The Royal Excel Mouscron fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kujawiak Włocławek were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
