Edwin van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teddy Tholsted in the 12th minute of play. Teddy Tholsted could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Edwin van der Sar made a huge save. Edwin van der Sar made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Teddy Tholsted sent off a good shot on target. Edwin van der Sar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teddy Tholsted's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Edwin van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teddy Tholsted, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Teddy Tholsted's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edwin van der Sar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Pacorro Aguilar made a precise shot to the right of Ferdinand Johnson. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 33rd minute Pacorro Aguilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Johnson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edwin van der Sar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teddy Tholsted made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Artal Burualla notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Edwin van der Sar. Edwin van der Sar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 57 played minutes ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ got a freekick which was hit by 倪国庭. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ made a substitution. After 60 minutes, Noel Guerrero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ and the ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Noel Guerrero hit a great ball. When 倪国庭 fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's protests and gave 倪国庭 a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd match minute, ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 倪国庭 to maneuver through the defense. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Edwin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artal Burualla in the 65th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jedrzej Kloczko to maneuver through the defense. Ferdinand Johnson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pero Falla in the 79th minute. 倪国庭 kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Roger Peiro hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 86 minutes of play ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Noel Guerrero was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Roger Peiro made in the 90th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Arnulfo Valencia. Ferdinand Johnson made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Pero Falla sent off a good shot on target. Edwin van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teddy Tholsted, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ fully deserved thier win.
