The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute, Dé Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Seventh Eleven's Karl-Oskar Utfal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armin Kirchhoff in the 13th minute of play. Französisch Buchholz FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Armin Kirchhoff in the 14th minute. Karl-Oskar Utfal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Clementi, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Jeremias Clementi took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Oskar Utfal. Karl-Oskar Utfal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Heimko Geisen made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Hatemi Mukbil sent off a good shot on target. If Dé Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Maiko Kottsieper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Oskar Utfal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witomir Walentowicz in the 34th minute of play forced Französisch Buchholz FC's goalkeeper Heimko Geisen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hannes Duset had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in The Seventh Eleven's zone, Jeremias Clementi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Oskar Utfal came out of the goal and Jeremias Clementi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute Witomir Walentowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heimko Geisen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danny Haar made a great header on The Seventh Eleven's corner, it was just that Französisch Buchholz FC's Heimko Geisen managed to reach the ball for a save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dé Velloso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Jeremias Clementi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Karl-Oskar Utfal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Französisch Buchholz FC's Armin Kirchhoff got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Seventh Eleven made a substitution. Joar Linquist replaced Maximilian Blomkvist. 72 minutes into the match, Französisch Buchholz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hatemi Mukbil came free, but Heimko Geisen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heimko Geisen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hatemi Mukbil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Calle Grönlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Oskar Utfal was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Basil Miss. Heimko Geisen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny Haar in the 89th minute of the match. Danny Haar struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Heimko Geisen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Seventh Eleven. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Französisch Buchholz FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
