Lillebror Gris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Pandrea in the 5th minute of play. After some careless play in the Bibbi Bonkers defense, Ionuț Drumeș kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lillebror Gris. The Bibbi Bonkers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lillebror Gris should have stopped the shot. In the 10th minute Aurel Pandrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lillebror Gris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bibbi Bonkers's Lillebror Gris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Pandrea in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to Bibbi Bonkers getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Bror Josefsson hit a great ball. After 14 minutes, Gheorghe Cunea made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Bibbi Bonkers's Lillebror Gris tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 16 minutes of play, Steaua Bucuresti's Aurel Pandrea made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lillebror Gris was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ionuț Drumeș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the game, Bror Josefsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bibbi Bonkers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Steaua Bucuresti the free kick. The supporters of Steaua Bucuresti booed when Bibbi Bonkers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bror Josefsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Felix Iosif made a precise shot to the right of Lillebror Gris. Bibbi Bonkers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Ionuț Drumeș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johannes Lindström during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Johannes Lindström kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Cezar Cernescu took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lillebror Gris. Lillebror Gris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 47th minute Cezar Cernescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lillebror Gris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Steaua Bucuresti were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gheorghe Cunea made a kick off. Lillebror Gris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Iosif in the 53rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Steaua Bucuresti's Gheorghe Cunea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lillebror Gris. That made the score 0-9 after 54 minutes of play. Lillebror Gris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gheorghe Cunea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Steaua Bucuresti's Marcu Şerbănoiu suffered a concussion in the 58th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Ove Jonsson's late challenge caught a Steaua Bucuresti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ove Jonsson helped the player get up and apologised. Steaua Bucuresti made a substitution. Denis Sima replaced Marcu Şerbănoiu. Lillebror Gris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Nae Matei made a precise shot to the right of Lillebror Gris. Bibbi Bonkers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. In the 71st minute, Gheorghe Cunea fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 73rd minute Felix Iosif shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lillebror Gris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gheorghe Cunea got free with Lillebror Gris in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute, Gheorghe Cunea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Steaua Bucuresti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-13. Lillebror Gris came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Steaua Bucuresti's Gheorghe Cunea. But to his dismay, Gheorghe Cunea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-14. Ionuț Drumeș took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lillebror Gris. Lillebror Gris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-15. Ionuț Drumeș in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lillebror Gris, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Cezar Cernescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lillebror Gris. That made the score 0-16 in the 87 minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Cezar Cernescu made a precise shot to the right of Lillebror Gris. Bibbi Bonkers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-17. In the 95th minute, Cezar Cernescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lillebror Gris was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-18. When the match was over Steaua Bucuresti could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bibbi Bonkers throughout the match.
