Ivo Campelo started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute Alvaro Sforza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, SLB TELHA's Cristoforo Brillante threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ivo Campelo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Álvaro Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Sforza in the 11th minute of the match. In the 15thth minute of the game Noel Marinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Roma's Cristoforo Brillante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Roma's goalkeeper Cristoforo Brillante, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 18 played minutes AC Roma got a freekick which was hit by Mihai Daimacă. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Sforza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Álvaro Garcia was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Alvaro Sforza sped through SLB TELHA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Álvaro Garcia. With a little luck, AC Roma's Cristoforo Brillante got control of the ball when Noel Marinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 29 minutes SLB TELHA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alvaro Sforza who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to AC Roma's Alessio Odisio getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The throw-in from Mihai Daimacă in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SLB TELHA's Bianco Pietropaolo. After 34 minutes of play, AC Roma's Javier Della Francesca made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Álvaro Garcia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alvaro Sforza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Álvaro Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Sforza in the 38th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvaro Sforza to make the kick off. Álvaro Garcia made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Alvaro Sforza sent off a good shot on target. Alvaro Sforzas short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Álvaro Garcia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. AC Roma's Cristoforo Brillante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Marinho in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Sforza in the 56th minute of play forced SLB TELHA's goalkeeper Álvaro Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristoforo Brillante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivo Campelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SLB TELHA's Álvaro Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save SLB TELHA from getting a goal against them. Cristoforo Brillante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Campelo in the 72nd minute of the match. Álvaro Garcia made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Alvaro Sforza sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Della Francesca in the 79th minute of play forced SLB TELHA's goalkeeper Álvaro Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noel Marinho scored 1-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristoforo Brillante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 89 played minutes AC Roma got a freekick which was hit by Alessio Odisio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Campelo in the 92nd minute of play forced AC Roma's goalkeeper Cristoforo Brillante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristoforo Brillante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivo Campelo's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Chants of AC Roma echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as SLB TELHA had held the ball for most of the match.
