The Lobo Guará fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 6th minute, Willian Caca-Rato made a precise shot to the right of Bartolo Benino. Duendes Verdes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Ezequiel Pereira scored 0-3 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bartolo Benino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bartolo Benino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ezequiel Pereira's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Duendes Verdes's goalkeeper Bartolo Benino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nando Barbosa made a great header on Lobo Guará's corner, it was just that Duendes Verdes's Bartolo Benino managed to reach the ball for a save. 28 minutes into the match, Ezequiel Pereira notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Duendes Verdes's Bartolo Benino. Ezequiel Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Duendes Verdes's goalkeeper Bartolo Benino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Duendes Verdes defense, Ezequiel Pereira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bartolo Benino. The Duendes Verdes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bartolo Benino should have stopped the shot. Bartolo Benino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Haroldo Lope to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Pereira in the 55th minute of play forced Duendes Verdes's goalkeeper Bartolo Benino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 minutes of play, Lobo Guará's Ezequiel Pereira made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bartolo Benino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Duendes Verdes's Albino Azeari got his second yellow card of the match in the 62nd minute. The referee ordered Albino Azeari off the ground. Lobo Guará made a substitution. Aykut Adar replaced Kerimhan Özonder. A collision led to Duendes Verdes getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Albino Azeari hit a great ball. Ezequiel Pereira got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-10 in the right cross in the 70th match minute before Bartolo Benino had time to react. 76 minutes into the match, Duendes Verdes's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro de Moraes came free, but Bartolo Benino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute of the game Haroldo Lope made a throw-in which Aaron Macario played forward. Bartolo Benino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro de Moraes in the 81st minute. When Ciro de Moraes came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Lobo Guará fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro de Moraes couldn't finish the play. Lobo Guará's Ciro de Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lobo Guará's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
