With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Nisio in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Berenguer Tolosa saved FCSB CUENCA from getting behind. After having played for 22 minutes, Rafael Nisio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pendex's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Nisio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pendex's Ruperto Nayely played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Olivar in the 23rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Pendex defense, Americo Olivar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruperto Nayely. The Pendex fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruperto Nayely should have stopped the shot. In the 27th match minute, FCSB CUENCA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davide Giacomozzi to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Pendex booed when FCSB CUENCA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borys Jarocewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Nisio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Berenguer Tolosa firmly grabbed it by the left post. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evaristo Marcos was the one to do the kick off. Ruperto Nayely made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Evaristo Marcos sent off a good shot on target. Rafael Nisio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Berenguer Tolosa having to make a save. In the 66thth minute of the game Rafael Nisio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FCSB CUENCA's Berenguer Tolosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pendex's David Šácha was substituted for Rafael Nisio. Pendex's Antonio Inguma was substituted for Ryan Keuppens. Pendex's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gogo Crescencio in the 69th minute.
