Tartalo Delatorre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabian Oterino might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patricio Ugutz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabian Oterino ran back to his position shaking his head. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Patricio Ugutz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Barcellos Mineiro FC from getting a goal against them. In the 40th match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radul Kokalov to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dale Dolar to maneuver through the defense. If Francisco Conceicão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Carrascal in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tartalo Delatorre saved Atlético Grau Piura from getting behind. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético Grau Piura's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amílton Loyola was slow to take the kick. During this time Barcellos Mineiro FC's players had a chance to rest. Patricio Ugutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Junior Quintana in the 91st minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Quintana came free, but Patricio Ugutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Barcellos Mineiro FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Barcellos Mineiro FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
