Legia Stavanger's Slavcho Kanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Dolar in the 8th minute of play. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Clóvis Vieira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mats Lillegård, made in the 9th minute of the game. Slavcho Kanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dale Dolar in the 10th minute of the match. Patricio Ugutz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Farstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Dale Dolar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Slavcho Kanov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Legia Stavanger's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Dolar came free, but Slavcho Kanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Slavcho Kanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dale Dolar in the 27th minute of the match. Legia Stavanger's Slavcho Kanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Dolar in the 30th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Dale Dolar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Slavcho Kanov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Dale Dolar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Slavcho Kanov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Dale Dolar might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Slavcho Kanov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dale Dolar ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 47th minute, Trygve Stormoen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barcellos Mineiro FC were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after Legia Stavanger's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amílton Loyola took the corner. The corner led to Barcellos Mineiro FC's Radul Kokalov getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Slavcho Kanov came out of the goal in the 50th minute to try and stop a shot by Barcellos Mineiro FC's Radul Kokalov. But to his dismay, Radul Kokalov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dale Dolar was the one to do the kick off. In the 57thth minute of the game Abelardo Alonso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barcellos Mineiro FC's Patricio Ugutz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Dale Dolar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Slavcho Kanov. Dale Dolar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Dale Dolar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th match minute, Legia Stavanger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolae Ciorogaru to maneuver through the defense. If Dale Dolar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gjermund Viste in the 85th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Patricio Ugutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barcellos Mineiro FC made a substitution. Jorge Carrascal replaced Dale Dolar. Trygve Stormoen made in the 95th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Mats Lillegård however managed to control. Patricio Ugutz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Alonso in the 98th minute of the match. Barcellos Mineiro FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
