With an extended leg and a bit of luck Avgustin Yochev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute, Veliko Stefchov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tolis Mantouvalos. The goal made the score 1-0. Tolis Mantouvalos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Darin Gladichev in the 18th minute. Makis Iosifakos's late challenge caught a Laziali's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Makis Iosifakos helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game.
