In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Laziali's goalkeeper Avgustin Yochev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Thomas Rix took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Eddy Stoorms to make any attempt to save it. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sean Mallecots was the one to do the kick off. Laziali's Ramiro da Silva was substituted for Darin Gladichev. A collision led to Invictus FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Octave Hendrickx hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Laziali defense, Sean Mallecots kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Avgustin Yochev. The Laziali fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Avgustin Yochev should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute, Sean Mallecots made a precise shot to the right of Avgustin Yochev. Laziali's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The Invictus FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eddy Stoorms should have stopped the shot. Sean Mallecots blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Avgustin Yochev having to make a save. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Laziali lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
