After a rather tough play, Invictus FC's Marnix De Vorster got a free kick in the 7th minute. Joel Pitin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eddy Stoorms. Invictus FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Club Atlético Temperley's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Pitin in the 9th minute. A nice corner shot did that Cristiano Correia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eddy Stoorms quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Eddy Stoorms showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Laurendi in the 16th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Invictus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Correia came free, but Eddy Stoorms reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ioan Voicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sean Mallecots, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Pitin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eddy Stoorms read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, Club Atlético Temperley's Ioan Voicu got control of the ball when Sean Mallecots tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sean Mallecots in the 33rd minute of play forced Club Atlético Temperley's goalkeeper Ioan Voicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sean Mallecots might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ioan Voicu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sean Mallecots ran back to his position shaking his head. Ioan Voicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Mallecots in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute Invictus FC were awarded a corner. Rafet Şikel went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Invictus FC's Ruud Schautens getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 39th minute Sean Mallecots shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ioan Voicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Correia in the 40th minute of play forced Invictus FC's goalkeeper Eddy Stoorms to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristiano Correia made a kick off. Ioan Voicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sean Mallecots, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Club Atlético Temperley's Ioan Voicu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean Mallecots in the 58th minute of play. Rafet Şikel hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Eddy Stoorms made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Correia in the 61st minute of play. After 66 minutes, Gaston Laurendi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Temperley and the Invictus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute of the match Rafet Şikel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ioan Voicu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 69th minute, Sean Mallecots ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ioan Voicu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 74th minute, Club Atlético Temperley's Cristiano Correia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Invictus FC made a substitution. Qian Yu Ao replaced Ruud Schautens. After 84 minutes of play, Invictus FC's Sean Mallecots made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ioan Voicu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th match minute, Club Atlético Temperley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Villerias to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Joel Pitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddy Stoorms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Club Atlético Temperley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Lopez to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Invictus FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Atlético Temperley had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
