When Abdika Philip came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Salud y República fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdika Philip couldn't finish the play. In the 17th match minute, Salud y República was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Archibaldo Ecija to maneuver through the defense. If Krister Jonsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abdika Philip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Peter Belkå tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Lite Finare Lite Bättre booed when Salud y República was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nisio Riba didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Krister Jonsson made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Salud y República was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Astudillo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tord Stolpe in the 54th minute of play forced Salud y República's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Suciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 minutes of play Salud y República's Nisio Riba was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Juan Carlos Suciu came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Krister Jonsson. But to his dismay, Krister Jonsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Krister Jonsson got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Krister Jonsson notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Salud y República's Juan Carlos Suciu. Juan Carlos Suciu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Salud y República booed when Lite Finare Lite Bättre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando da Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Max Rönn got a throw-in 75 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Cao Xing Si. A collision led to Salud y República getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Fructuoso Echavarri hit a great ball. Tord Stolpe hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Karl-Michael Ljungberg kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Archibaldo Ecija received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Juan Carlos Suciu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
