After 9 minutes, Abelardo Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rockets and the Purple Talents players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rockets's Abelardo Rocha got a free kick in the 9th minute. 박 서문 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Róbson Messias's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. The supporters of Purple Talents booed when Rockets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christoffer Lingren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benjamin Mazza. Rockets's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Rockets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raí da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. Victorino Lazcano took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamin Mazza. Benjamin Mazza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After some careless play in the Rockets defense, Victorino Lazcano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin Mazza. The Rockets fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Mazza should have stopped the shot. Victorino Lazcano struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Benjamin Mazza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Purple Talents. After some careless play in the Rockets defense, Victorino Lazcano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin Mazza. The Rockets fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Mazza should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd match minute, Rockets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raí da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Purple Talents were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victorino Lazcano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Purple Talents's Victorino Lazcano got a free kick in the 53rd minute. With his leg Benjamin Mazza managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Purple Talents's Victorino Lazcano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rockets's goalkeeper Benjamin Mazza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antoine Cromefeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Júlio Pires hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Victorino Lazcano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Benjamin Mazza made a huge save. A collision led to Rockets getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Júlio Pires hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Victorino Lazcano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Mazza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Benjamin Mazza was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Victorino Lazcano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Victorino Lazcano really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. Benjamin Mazza came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Purple Talents's Victorino Lazcano. But to his dismay, Victorino Lazcano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-9. Purple Talents made a substitution. Bertan Joostens replaced Victorino Lazcano.
