The Branco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aaron Inge should have stopped the shot. Jens Huybreghts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Itzaina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half BAŞBUĞ were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sait Nursal was the one to do the kick off. In the 85th minute Sait Nursal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Inge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hüseyin Can Orak scored 0-6 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aaron Inge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aaron Inge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enis Behiç Nizami in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. BAŞBUĞ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
