Spectators: 184 (Terracing: 139, Seating: 42, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tiberiu Caramarin started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Branco FC's zone, Mihăiţă Ilarie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Inge came out of the goal and Mihăiţă Ilarie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aaron Inge made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Tiberiu Caramarin sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute Mitch Dekens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Madgearu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiberiu Caramarin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Branco FC's Angel Arnalt got a free kick in the 15th minute. Aaron Inge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Branco FC were furious when Aristides Etxeberri was red carded, 25 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Branco FC! When the match had been going on for 26 minutes, MIT's Romeo Gherghescu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Aaron Inge. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by MIT's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sten Nordin was slow to take the kick. During this time Branco FC's players had a chance to rest. Branco FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sten Nordin in the 38th minute. After 38 played minutes Branco FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Itzaina. In the 40th minute, Mihăiţă Ilarie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Mitch Dekens made the kick off in the second half. Aaron Inge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 52nd minute of play. Aaron Inge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 60 minutes into the match, Branco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Caramarin came free, but Aaron Inge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron Inge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute of the game Sten Nordin made a throw-in which Claudio Itzaina played forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiberiu Caramarin in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Inge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Branco FC's Sten Nordin got a free kick in the 74th minute. The supporters of MIT booed when Branco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Nordin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Tiberiu Caramarin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Aaron Inge was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. MIT's Bogdan Bucataru was substituted for Mihăiţă Ilarie. Branco FC's Aaron Inge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 80th minute of play. MIT's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bogdan Bucataru in the 82nd minute. Tiberiu Caramarin might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aaron Inge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiberiu Caramarin ran back to his position shaking his head. When Tiberiu Caramarin came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the MIT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiberiu Caramarin couldn't finish the play. MIT made a substitution. Aurel Buzea replaced Florin Seremet. 93 minutes into the match, Tiberiu Caramarin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aaron Inge. Branco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiberiu Caramarin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. MIT's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
