Arne Bronco scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tim Johnstone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arman von Liechtenstein hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Gabriel Lange hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laureano Beliran might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tim Johnstone. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laureano Beliran ran back to his position shaking his head. Arne Bronco spun around in front of the goal 17 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of The Tigers's goal. With a little luck, The Tigers's Tim Johnstone got control of the ball when Laureano Beliran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tim Johnstone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Bronco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laureano Beliran during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kevin Hellström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Tim Johnstone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute of the match Joxa mé trasan got a corner. The Tigers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ove Löfgren ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Tigers's Tim Johnstone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save The Tigers from getting a goal against them. Laureano Beliran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tim Johnstone having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laureano Beliran made a kick off. The attack was good, but when Laureano Beliran in the 53rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 56 played minutes Joxa mé trasan got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Lange. Laureano Beliran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tim Johnstone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Carl Downes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Edward Engström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carl Downes got free with Edward Engström in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes into the game, Arman von Liechtenstein cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Tim Johnstone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Laureano Beliran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Johnstone having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laureano Beliran in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tim Johnstone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tim Johnstone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Beliran in the 83rd minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Joxa mé trasan's Arne Bronco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tim Johnstone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 93rd minute, Laureano Beliran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Joxa mé trasan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Joxa mé trasan fully deserved thier win.
