In the 17thth minute of the game Teodoro Freire who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Björnlunda IF's Eric Olofsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The AM United fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when AM United's Teodoro Freire looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Björnlunda IF's Eric Olofsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Pessoa in the 39th minute of play. If Teodoro Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Ekström hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andreas Åhlberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eric Olofsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nikos Christou in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Björnlunda IF booed when AM United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball.
