In the 17th minute Emiliano Giusto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Igon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute Emilio Sugoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Violento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Igon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Giusto in the 21st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anfilogino Furia during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anfilogino Furia kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes, Campeones del Mundo's Eusebio Afonso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fabiano Violento came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Campeones del Mundo reached it. 32 minutes into the match, Campeones del Mundo's goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Furia came free, but Daniel Igon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Campeones del Mundo's zone, Emiliano Giusto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Igon came out of the goal and Emiliano Giusto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, Grant Verga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Igon came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Old BaoBaB Accademy's Cesare Marcolongo. But to his dismay, Cesare Marcolongo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After the first half Old BaoBaB Accademy were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fulgencio Ferrer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Old BaoBaB Accademy's Emiliano Giusto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. 56 minutes into the match, Campeones del Mundo's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Giusto came free, but Daniel Igon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Ferrer in the 59th minute of play forced Old BaoBaB Accademy's goalkeeper Fabiano Violento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mani Cero made in the 62nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gaston Lucila immediately put the ball in play. After 64 minutes, Emiliano Giusto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Old BaoBaB Accademy and the Campeones del Mundo players grew even worse after the yellow card. 70 minutes into the match, Old BaoBaB Accademy's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Ferrer came free, but Fabiano Violento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Old BaoBaB Accademy made a substitution. Prince Queen replaced Robert Pirès. Old BaoBaB Accademy made a substitution. Emilio Buffone replaced Emiliano Giusto. In the 74th match minute, Campeones del Mundo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mani Cero to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilio Buffone got free with Daniel Igon in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute, Emilio Buffone left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Old BaoBaB Accademy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The audience was convinced that Emilio Buffone's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Igon was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Anfilogino Furia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Daniel Igon made a huge save. If Emilio Buffone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Igon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilio Buffone in the 87th minute. Campeones del Mundo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Emilio Buffone scored to the left of an out of position Daniel Igon, making the score, 0-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Old BaoBaB Accademy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
