Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robben Spoelberchs in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rıza Vuralhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wincent Dropinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Asklöv, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Strömsbro IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mao Jun Yun in the 9th minute. Lukas Hallgren was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robben Spoelberchs in the 12th minute of play. Rıza Vuralhan came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Castanheiro SC's Robben Spoelberchs. But to his dismay, Robben Spoelberchs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Stefano in the 20th minute of play. Argyris Papapetrou struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Wincent Dropinski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Strömsbro IF. In the 25th match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 陶渊伟 to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Romero was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 29 minutes into the match. Wincent Dropinski had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Charlie Beck's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Castanheiro SC's Wincent Dropinski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Castanheiro SC from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute, Elói Maranhense made a precise shot to the right of Rıza Vuralhan. Strömsbro IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 46th minute, Argyris Papapetrou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Strömsbro IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute Argyris Papapetrou suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Jonas Casta charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Casta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Castanheiro SC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Jonas Casta hit a great ball. Strömsbro IF's Igor Bambas was substituted for Argyris Papapetrou. Castanheiro SC's Jânio Sanches was substituted for Alfredo Stefano. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Robben Spoelberchs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castanheiro SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Robben Spoelberchs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rıza Vuralhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan got control of the ball when Robben Spoelberchs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Robben Spoelberchs could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Rıza Vuralhan however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's Osvaldo Velloso got a free kick in the 77th minute. Osvaldo Velloso kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Igor Bambas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Bambas in the 79th minute of play forced Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Wincent Dropinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Igor Bambas made a precise shot to the right of Wincent Dropinski. Castanheiro SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. If Manfredo Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wincent Dropinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antti Ani in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Emil Billing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute Igor Bambas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincent Dropinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Castanheiro SC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
