The E.C 2 Janeiro RS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlinhos da Costa should have stopped the shot. 9 minutes into the game, Kajetan Pruss cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Carlinhos da Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12thth minute of the game Kajetan Pruss who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Carlinhos da Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goal looked a bit too open when Radoslaw Michalski came free, but Carlinhos da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Paulo Pontes fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored E.C 2 Janeiro RS's protests and gave Paulo Pontes a yellow card for diving instead. Paulo Pontes hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Kajetan Pruss managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rothenburg SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Kajetan Pruss was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlinhos da Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlinhos da Costa didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Rothenburg SSA's Piotr Kociniewski shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. After 22 minutes of play, Rothenburg SSA's Radoslaw Michalski made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlinhos da Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlinhos da Costa came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Rothenburg SSA's Kajetan Pruss. But to his dismay, Kajetan Pruss quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 29 minutes into the game, Rothenburg SSA's Kajetan Pruss nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlinhos da Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. In the 32nd minute Piotr Kociniewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlinhos da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radoslaw Michalski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Piotr Kociniewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rothenburg SSA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Valadares in the 42nd minute of play forced Rothenburg SSA's goalkeeper Artur Borubar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rdth minute of the game Kajetan Pruss who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Carlinhos da Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radoslaw Michalski in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlinhos da Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

Kajetan Pruss in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carlinhos da Costa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Piotr Kociniewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlinhos da Costa having to interfere. A collision led to E.C 2 Janeiro RS getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Geraldo Eger hit a great ball. Carlinhos da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafal Imbor, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Kajetan Pruss made a precise shot to the right of Carlinhos da Costa. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Rafal Imbor did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-10 to the left of a surprised Carlinhos da Costa 71 minutes into the match. Paulo Pontes was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Paulo Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fellipe Rezende during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute, Fellipe Rezende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Carlinhos da Costa got control of the ball when Lucjan Golaszewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rafal Imbor took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlinhos da Costa. Carlinhos da Costa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. When Rafal Imbor came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Rothenburg SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafal Imbor couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 86 in the game by Kajetan Pruss from a close distance when the talented Carlinhos da Costa managed to make a qualified save. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's players were relieved. 87 minutes into the match, Kajetan Pruss notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Carlinhos da Costa. Carlinhos da Costa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 91st minute Rafal Imbor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goalkeeper Carlinhos da Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kajetan Pruss. João Francisco de Mendonça's late challenge caught a Rothenburg SSA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Francisco de Mendonça helped the player get up and apologised. João Francisco de Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The E.C 2 Janeiro RS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rothenburg SSA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
