With a little luck, Steedshoger's Rudi Ebbinge got control of the ball when Kajetan Pruss tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81stth minute of the game Jos Gerrits who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rothenburg SSA's Artur Borubar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Rothenburg SSA's Rudi Ebbinge threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rafal Imbor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rothenburg SSA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Steedshoger.
