With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sermet Tacal in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlinhos da Costa saved E.C 2 Janeiro RS from getting behind. In the 4th minute Lupere FC - DMZ were awarded a corner. Laerte Torres went to the cornerflag to take it. Lupere FC - DMZ's Guto Moraes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carlinhos da Costa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Carlinhos da Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sermet Tacal in the 6th minute. The audience was convinced that Sermet Tacal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlinhos da Costa was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 8th match minute, Lupere FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrício Jardel to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the game, Lupere FC - DMZ's Sermet Tacal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlinhos da Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Lupere FC - DMZ's Telmo Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Valadares in the 14th minute of play. Sermet Tacal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Carlinhos da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sermet Tacal in the 20th minute of play. Carlinhos da Costa was a little too slow when Fabrício Jardel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-0. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Sermet Tacal took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Carlinhos da Costa to make any attempt to save it. 31 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goal looked a bit too open when Sermet Tacal came free, but Carlinhos da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabrício Jardel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlinhos da Costa. That made the score 4-0 in the 33 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sermet Tacal got free with Carlinhos da Costa in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After taking down the ball on Lupere FC - DMZ's corner Laerte Torres fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carlinhos da Costa quite easily take care of the ball. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Sermet Tacal took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Carlinhos da Costa to make any attempt to save it. Carlinhos da Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sermet Tacal in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Valadares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlinhos da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrício Jardel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlinhos da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sermet Tacal in the 59th minute of the match. Sermet Tacal took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlinhos da Costa. Carlinhos da Costa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. 66 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goal looked a bit too open when Sermet Tacal came free, but Carlinhos da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Haroldo Sanches got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the game, Lupere FC - DMZ's Sermet Tacal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlinhos da Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Carlinhos da Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sermet Tacal went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. In the 81st minute, Sermet Tacal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lupere FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. 84 minutes into the match, Sermet Tacal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlinhos da Costa. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sermet Tacal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. Sermet Tacal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Carlinhos da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goal looked a bit too open when Sermet Tacal came free, but Carlinhos da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Lupere FC - DMZ were the better team. Lupere FC - DMZ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
