Gus Weirs short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Mathijs Tevreden to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Real Chelsea's Comunardo Prandini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristján Kipper in the 8th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Marty Harland threw the ball into play from the sideline. S.C. Potentia's Tiaguinho de Sousa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Mathijs Tevreden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Turk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Roman Pitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. S.C. Potentia's Erik Rensenbrink quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marty Harland, made in the 25th minute of the game. 25 minutes into the game, Erik Rensenbrink was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.C. Potentia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Chelsea the free kick. Erik Rensenbrink hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Potentia got a freekick which was hit by Anton Rovsing. 40 minutes into the match, S.C. Potentia's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Turk came free, but Mathijs Tevreden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. S.C. Potentia's Mathijs Tevreden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gus Weir in the 44th minute of play.

Malcolm Adcock kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. S.C. Potentia's Tiaguinho de Sousa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Marty Harland in the 65 minute of the game. Mathijs Tevreden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gus Weir in the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gus Weir in the 71st minute of play forced S.C. Potentia's goalkeeper Mathijs Tevreden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Gus Weir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mathijs Tevreden was relentless in the 71st minute of the game.
