Roman Pitin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kristján Kipper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarbas Marques having to interfere. A hard shot 13 in the game by Roman Pitin from a close distance when the talented Jarbas Marques managed to make a qualified save. União Agrícola Barbarense's players were relieved. 15 minutes into the match, União Agrícola Barbarense's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Messi came free, but Jarbas Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Adam Messi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jarbas Marques was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. If Kristján Kipper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Adam Messi sped through União Agrícola Barbarense's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jarbas Marques. With a little luck, União Agrícola Barbarense's Jarbas Marques got control of the ball when Erik Rensenbrink tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jarbas Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristján Kipper, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After 93 minutes of play, S.C. Potentia's Adam Messi made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jarbas Marques was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the União Agrícola Barbarense defense, Kristján Kipper kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarbas Marques. The União Agrícola Barbarense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarbas Marques should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. S.C. Potentia had played much better football throughout.
