Thorsten Ternes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenon Brataniec in the 13th minute of the match. Tombolo Wa Kadima Ruchthanatuchaiiakul was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Rodrigo Ferdinand capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rodrigo Ferdinand really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loukianos Staikos in the 19th minute of play forced Brzeźnica Lynx's goalkeeper Tombolo Wa Kadima Ruchthanatuchaiiakul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of International Thunders booed when Brzeźnica Lynx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Kendra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tombolo Wa Kadima Ruchthanatuchaiiakul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zbyszek Witkowski got free with Thorsten Ternes in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tombolo Wa Kadima Ruchthanatuchaiiakul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percival Costa in the 92nd minute of play. International Thunders's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
